I came down with the cold and felt really gross so I didn't end up going much. I did however, go today. It was nice, reminded me of why I love it so much!! It was the re-motivation I needed after almost a week!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm sure my downfalls this week were the days I took off while I was sick. Not to mention the baked goods I had eaten a few days in a row. I admit, I'm not perfect, but who is? Getting my sleep patterns, eating habits, and gym schedule to work together seems to prove problematic right now. Maybe I need to work on one at a time but that just doesn't seem plausible right now either. Without proper sleep, I feel too weak to work out due to not having enough energy. When I don't eat enough or eat too much, I feel sick. If I don't go to the gym, I feel depression starting to kick in. So any which way, it's a lose-lose-lose situation! SO that means I need to do all of them together and hope something good comes out of it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I've been reading David Patchell-Evans book "Living the Good Life: Your Guide to Health and Success" a lot lately and I find it very inspiring. At first I thought it was just going to be another boring book full of facts of health instead of his journey and perspective on things. It's amazing. There is a spot near the back of the book to enter your goals and keep track of everything. I like how personalized this book is to "Patch" and how it feels like a &lt;i&gt;&lt;b&gt;person&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/i&gt; is talking to me all throughout it. I recommend you read it if you haven't already. :) &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This week, I'm looking to push myself to do what's right and healthy for me and not let anything get in my way!! My body has been sore all over, especially my thighs and lower back. The nice thing about GoodLife is that there are a couple of vibrating massage chairs. They are AWESOME for getting rid of stiff muscles! Actually, I kind of wish I had one of those chairs to call my own. :)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I weighed myself on Oct.27th before I even decided to become a member. That being said, my weight is probably what made me become a member.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;OCT.27th &lt;/u&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Weight:&lt;/b&gt; 345 lbs&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Height:&lt;/b&gt; 5' 4"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have a 2 year membership and in these 2 years, I plan to lose at least 10 lbs a month until my desired weight and inches are lost. I'd like to be roughly 140 lbs by October 2012. If I lose the weight and inches, I hope to work hard on my body to gain enough muscle to look good but not too much where I look like a body builder!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My main reasons for losing weight &amp;amp; becoming healthy are:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;To ensure I stay healthy throughout the rest of my life&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;To be able to belly dance and look sexy doing it&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;To be able to go shopping without getting upset&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;To be able to fit into a gorgeous wedding dress when that special day arrives &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;To ensure I pass on good, healthy, active habits to my kids (when I eventually have children) &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I will take a photo of myself and weigh myself every month, posting results here for you to see. I have a feeling the first 2 months are going to be very difficult as Christmas is coming up and I'm still not in the swing of things yet.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I will also post what I eat daily as a reminder to myself of what TO eat and what NOT to eat. Y&lt;/b&gt;outhful&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: left;"&gt;Those are just a few words describing me. The list could go on and on, but what fun would that be, not letting you get to know me. If you have any questions, please ask, don't hold back. :) &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: left;"&gt;Learning languages, photography, exploring, writing, interior decorating, cooking, camping, listening to music and making friends are a few things I enjoy... and now I can add "Going to the gym" as one of my hobbies. :) I used to dread going to the gym, especially without a friend, but now, that has all changed thanks to GoodLife Fitness!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is the first time in my life I haven't felt judged, intimidated or pressured going to a gym. The staff, members and drop-ins all seem to have 2 goals in mind. 1.) Get into shape and 2.) Be nice to everyone and help if needed. When I turned away from a machine because I had no idea how to use it, a random person asked if I wanted him to show me how to use it. Never gotten that response before! Normally, a snicker was in order, but not this time! Was an amazing feeling of community and self-worth.
